Since 2016, I have provided specialised mental health assessment, treatment and care for the breadth of creative, performing, events and entertainment industries, as well as for people across all creative endeavours and disciplines. Below is an overview of the services I currently provide. I am always open to exploring new ways to support creative individuals and build collaborations - please don't hesitate to drop me a line.
In addition, my clinical practice focuses on supporting people who have neurodivergent brains, people from LGBTQIA+ communities, people managing chronic illness, people with a lived experience of eating disorders, and people born with female birth characteristics, supporting every stage of hormonal health from puberty to menopause and beyond.
Private clinical psychology services are tailored for adults working across all disciplines of the creative and performing arts, as well as individuals with creative brain types. I understand the unique pressures faced by artists, performers, backstage professionals, and creative industry workers, and provide compassionate, evidence-based care to support mental health and wellbeing. Services include assessment, therapy, and tailored strategies to manage stress, performance demands, and life challenges. Medicare rebates are available with a GP referral, and I welcome clients supported under the NDIS, ensuring accessible care for people living with disability. The service is provided via telehealth, and all sessions are confidential, collaborative, and designed to help every brain sparkle.
I provide bespoke Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) specifically for the creative industries. The programs provide confidential psychological support for performers, creatives, production teams, and staff across all roles. Services can include short-term counselling, crisis support, and tailored mental-health resources that reflect the realities of creative work. Telehealth delivery ensures accessibility for individuals and organisations. By integrating mental health care into the fabric of creative workplaces, we can help teams thrive, reduce burnout, and foster sustainable creative careers.
Industry-specific workshops are designed to support the well-being and sustainability of people working in the creative and performing arts. Workshops can cover mental health awareness, how brains and bodies function under pressure, managing challenging conversations, fostering accessibility and inclusion, and building sustainable careers. I also provide specialised sessions on preparing for touring, maintaining psychosocial safety in creative workplaces, and navigating the impact of challenging content. All workshops are interactive, evidence-based, and tailored to the realities of the industry. Bespoke programs can also be designed to meet the specific needs of organisations, projects or creative works, ensuring meaningful and practical outcomes.
Consultation, advocacy, and research partnerships are available to strengthen mental health and wellbeing across the creative and performing arts. I work alongside organisations and individuals to navigate both the opportunities and challenges inherent in the industry, fostering collaboration for long-term sustainable industry building. Services include assessing and operationalising psychosocial safety, supporting workplaces in responding effectively to illness, injury, and psychological injury, and embedding evidence-based strategies into organisational practice. Through co-design, advocacy, and research, I aim to influence systemic change, empower creative communities, and ensure that artists and arts workers can thrive in healthy, safer, and sustainable environments.
